Wonderful Website of the Week

http://www.susiewatsondesigns.co.uk/

My mum sent me a few shabby chic postcards today, which were advertising boutique shops.    One in particular caught my eye Susie Watson Designs! Her website is full of beautiful shabby chic items, oh how I wish I had a big big house, and lots of money!
Be sure to check out the website, oh and have your bank card at the ready....

What A Saturday...actually what a week!

Hi All, I haven't updated for a while as been extremely busy, mainly trying to make my best friend go into labour....but that is one stubborn little bubba in there! He/She is not having it! :-) don't blame baby really, it's just too cold out here!
Today I have been run off my feet helping my sister move house.  I think moving house has quite possibly got to be the worst job in the world, and I should know having done it at least 20 times in my life (no lie), and I am still not settled, there is another house waiting for me in the near future hopefully!
So whilst my aunt had my lovely kiddies, the hubby and I have been lugging boxes, beds, wardrobes, toys, clothes and settees from one house to another.  So I am truly shattered....TAKEAWAY is calling! Although I now have to wait for the hubby to get back from a work callout!!

DON'T YOU JUST WISH IT WAS THIS EASY!

Ohhhh what a lovely day for sledging

Snowy Saturday

Hi All,

Well this snow malarky isn't getting any better is it?! Had another mini blizzard this morning, just to cover the footprints we made yesterday.  However, as much as it might be crippling the country, doesn't it make everything look picturesque.  After spending 2 hours sledging with my four year old yesterday today is a day for taking photographs of the white stuff! I am going to venture out with my preggas best friend who still hasn't dropped her bundle of joy (he/she is thinking its too cold out here), although i do have a funny feeling he/she might be here this weekend! We are heading to the beautiful Old Leigh so should get some lovely photos of the snow and the beach.  Then later today I think I will crack on with making some bits and bobs.

Oh yes has everybody noticed that This Morning currently have a make it yourself "shabby chic" feature in the show at the moment....it's great!

Worth checking out!

Enjoy the weather, stay safe :-) x

Today...

Well was really hoping all my website orders would have come today, but guess what, not one arrived! I am awaiting my fish-eye lens which I got for a bargain price on Ebay. Also my new fabrics, buttons and pinking scissors! Boo...hope it all comes tomorrow, as I have a sewing machine lesson booked with my Nan at 11am!!! Woop Woop. Cannot wait, hoping Nan can remember enough to get me started...I want to get cracking with my designs.
So many blogs that have given me inspiration, I can't get off the computer!
Today however I did remove myself from the laptop...for a while :-)  First day back at school for my little boy, then I went and got the tyres serviced on the car....they needed it, bordering on illegal side and all!!!
Then off to Lakeside shopping with my best bud Donna and her humungous BUMP! Only 10 days to go, although I still think bubba will be 2 days late :-) I have a design for a babygrow i want to do for bubby and cannot wait to start it! I tried driving fast over speed bumps today, but that didnt help...probably didnt help my car much either!  Have my fingers crossed that the hot curry and pineapple will help her tonight!

Anyway my lovelies, have a fabulous evening....I am off to watch Big Bro (saddo), I really want Vinnie to win, i lurrvvve him!!

ooohhh and i found these lovely bits and bobs that i want......slap my wrist....i need to stop looking!! I want the bib set for my best friend....she loves DwellStudio stuff :-)

I got bored....

...so quickly did this, literally took about 3 minutes!!! Used an old Ikea frame which had a random cartoon picture in it which was once in my 4 year old's room, took that out and replaced it with Laura Ashley wallpaper. Probably going to put it in Matilda's bedroom until I have finished her Russian Doll piccie.
