My first attempt at motifs

no laughing now....

Hobbycraft - the shop of my dreams

Well off I went to Hobbycraft today with my kiddies in tow. Joseph thought he would help out and push/pull the basket on wheels, ramming it into my ankles on at least 6 occasions, and with Matilda in her pram attempting to poo! Yes she was making everyone grunt and groan possible to try and dislodge it, but it didn't happen for over an hour by which time she had gone a lovely shade of tomato!
Anyway, back to Hobbycraft. Well i kitted myself out good and proper with the help of Cath Kidston's little list in her book. Got myself some lovely sewing bits and a pink box to home it all in (my husband was very chuffed with my new hobby...lol).

So tonight I have managed to revamp one of my daughter's plain vests and also made my dull plain white Primark t-shirt look lovely with a heart :-)

Tomorrow I am off fabric remnant hunting and button hunting!

The Cath Kidston "Make" book that I have fallen in love with. A must for any crafty person

Hello All

I do not have a clue what I am doing with a blog? I just saw a lovely blog and thought hhhmm I wouldn't mind one of those, so here I am! I am Mum to two beautiful children Joseph and Matilda and wife to my lovely hubby Paul. I enjoy attempting new crafty projects, from card making to sewing. I have just bought the Cath Kidston book "Make" and cannot wait for Hobbycraft to open their doors in the morning so I can get some BONDAWEB....what an exciting life :-)
